About Me

Ever since I was young I was always drawn to anything spooky. Halloween has always been my favorite holiday. Not just because it is the one night out of the year when you can be whatever you can conjure up, but because of the whole season surrounding it. Local haunted house, cold nights, staying in with hot chocolate and scary movies, these are just a few of the things that I have always held dear to my heart. Every year, the start of fall can bring on a whole new environment.

I didn't grow up with family movies like, Cinderella, or The Little Mermaid, instead I grew up with movies like, Halloween, Texas Chainsaw Massacre, and A Nightmare on Elm Street. Some could argue that it isn't healthy for a child to grow up with, but I believe that it just made my enjoyment for Halloween that much stronger. Many of my most positive childhood memories are of my family and I trick r' treating, or transforming the yard in terrifying graveyard. This is something that I plan to carry with me for the rest of my life, and possibly even pass the enjoyment onto my kids.
